Our accreditations

Verifavia is Fully Accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) and the French Accreditation Body (COFRAC) as a Global EU Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) Verifier. Verifavia is also the First Independent Verifier to Provide IMO DCS Verification, CSI Verification and CCWG Verification.

Verifavia (UK) Ltd is accredited by UKAS; and Verifavia SARL is accredited by COFRAC.

Our UKAS and COFRAC accreditations allow Verifavia to assess monitoring plans and verify emission reports according to the ISO 14065 standard and Regulation 757/2015 (EU MRV).

Our accreditations allow us to assess or verify any ship anywhere in the world, regardless of country of ownership, flag state, or class.
   
Verifavia is also fully authorized by the Panama Maritime Authority, the Liberia Maritime Authority, the Antigua & Barbuda Department of Marine Services and Merchant Shipping (ADOMS), the Palau International Ship Registry, and the Commonwealth of Dominica to conduct IMO Data Collection System (DCS) verification services for all flagged vessels registered in Panama, Liberia, Antigua & Barbuda, Palau and Dominica.

Verifavia is also approved by the Clean Shipping Index (CSI) to perform CSI verification, and by the Clean Cargo Working Group (CCWG) to perform CCWG verification.


As an accredited verifier, Verifavia has long-standing experience in and knowledge of conducting independent emissions verification – successfully managing thousands of data sets for over 1000 companies, spanning 70+ countries over 9 years.

As an ISO 14065 accredited verfication body, Verifavia can also conduct carbon emissions verification according to the ISO 14064-3 standard and the GHG Protocol.
