An Inventory of Hazardous Materials (IHM) is an essential document containing information regarding hazardous materials on board a vessel. Improper handling/disposal of hazardous materials pose a threat to our environment and endanger the safety of personnel.
Apart from minimizing risks to protect crew members onboard and yard workers ashore, a properly maintained IHM also ensures compliance with regulations such as the EU Ship Recycling Regulation (EU SRR 1257/2013) and Hong Kong Convention (HKC 2009).
