Verifavia and Vertis are happy to invite CLIA and its members to its knowledge-sharing webinar about EU Emission Trading System (ETS). CO2 emissions from ships will be included as of 2023 within the EU Emission Trading System (ETS), resulting in new requirements and increased challenges (and costs) to reach environmental compliance. The one-hour webinar will present key anticipated impacts of including shipping within the EU ETS and will introduce basic mechanisms associated with ETS in terms of carbon registries and trading of allowances, with a focus on the cruise line industry.

  • Carbon trading – introduction to allowances and strategies
  • Questions & Answers (15 minutes)
