Verifavia is the third largest global accredited EU MRV verifier and the first non-class independent one!
In accordance with Article 21 of Regulation (EU) 2015/757 on the monitoring, reporting and verification of CO2 emissions from maritime transport (EU MRV), the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA) made the verified MRV data from the 2018 monitoring period publicly available on its website on 1st July 2019. The information is accessible through an online search tool or can be exported in a spreadsheet for further analysis.> Access the EU MRV data
As the information includes the name of the verifier for each of 10880 ships reported, it is possible to calculate the market share of each verifier. As shown on the below figure, VERIFAVIA is the third largest EU MRV verifier and the first non class independent verifier with 1263 ships verified as of 1st July 2019 and a 11.6% market share!
