Shipping in Changing Climates: provisioning the future
The first International Conference on Shipping in Changing Climates: provisioning the future is hosted as part of the EPSRC and industry funded Shipping in Changing Climates consortium project and during the International Festival for Business 2014The conference will take place at the Liverpool Hilton Hotel and is hosted by the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research, School of Mechanical, Aerospace and Civil Engineering, University of Manchester in association with academic partners: UCL Energy Institute, UCL Department of Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering at the University of Newcastle and the University of Strathclyde.
Presentations from academics from physical to social sciences, as well as industrialists and policymakers will cover a wide range of topics including:
