Verifavia Shipping to host free EU MRV, IMO DCS, CSI, and CCWG Seminar in Singapore on 9th February 2018

         

Verifavia Shipping invites you to participate in an upcoming seminar to be held at the Holiday Inn Orchard City Centre in Singapore on Friday 9th February 2018 from 09:30 to 14:00 hrs.

Julien Dufour, CEO, and Yuvraj Thakur, Commercial Head Asia-Pacific of Verifavia Shipping along with other shipping experts, will address Singapore-based shipping companies on the EU Monitoring, Reporting & Verification (MRV), the IMO Data Collection System (DCS), the Clean Shipping Index (CSI), and the Clean Cargo Working Group (CCWG) regulations. The conference is free of charge for one person per shipping company.

 
 

Key challenges for shipping emissions regulations in 2018 

     

Julien Dufour, CEO, Verifavia Shipping, recently spoke with Green4Sea about the major industry developments and challenges ahead with respect to the emissions regulatory framework. According to Mr. Dufour, the industry must prepare for enforcement of the looming 2020 0.5% global sulphur cap regulations, and comply with the EU MRV and IMO DCS emission monitoring systems, which will run in parallel for at least the next few years.

Verifavia mulling SECA verification process
