EU MRV Seminar in Dubai

In conjunction with the IMarEST UAE branch, Verifavia Shipping invites you to attend a knowledge sharing session on the IMO DCS and EU MRV - applicability, timeline & identifying challenges on 18^th June at 16:00 hrs.

The IMO & European Commission in their mission to reduce GHG emissions and improve energy efficiency in shipping in general, have issued regulations which requires ship operators to annually monitor, report & verify CO2 emissions from ships larger than 5000 GT. Commencing 1 Jan 2018, the reported CO2 emissions, together with additional data (e.g. cargo, energy efficiency parameters, distance sailed, etc) will be verified by independent verifiers and sent to a central database.
